The
Keshaka Flexo Printer has been designed by a person who
is involved in the manufacture of corrugated cartons and
printed cartons for the last 35 years. This machine meets
all the requirements of the user i.e. adjusting printing
in microns, ink in microns. Feeding of materials is easy
as we have provided adjustable front lay. This machine
is extremely user friendly and has the following salient
features.
Features
•
The
machine is built Robust in Keshaka Tradition. The printing
cylinder is hard chrome plated for long life and balanced
for smooth running. As there are horizontal and vertical
markings on the printing cylinder, the printing stereos
can be fixed easily and accurately, resulting in quick make
ready. In case fine adjustment of printing space is required
after fixing of the stereo on the printing cylinder, it
can be done without removing and re-fixing of the stereos
by merely moving the printing cylinder clockwise to achieve
required spacing. This is a new feature, designed for faster
make ready time and operator convenience.

The
pressure roller is accurately ground and hard chrome plated
to provide distinct and clean printing of solids as well
as small text matter. In order to adjust the printing pressure
setting according to the thickness of the paper/ paperboard,
and to disengage the pressure roller in case of an impression
lapse and reengage it to continue printing, a sophisticated
mechanism has been provided in which, by merely pressing
of buttons, the above objectives are received.
Printing
•
The
printing unit consists of an anilox roller and a synthetic
rubber roller with an ink adjustment facility for controlled
and accurate ink release.

As
the machine is provided with front lays, feeding of the
paper is done accurately and easily even by an unskilled
operator. The front lays are provided with two independent
settings as a result of which, paper that has been cut cross
and not in 90 degrees can also be printed accurately.
•
If
a paper/ paperboard is wrongly fed or not fed, the operator
can press the foot switch to off by which the ink rolls
and impression roll are disengaged, allowing the paper to
pass without printing, thereby preventing paper wastage
and also maintaining consistency of printing shade.
Drive
•
The
machine motor is controlled by a hi-tech speed controller
that apart from saving power permits the operator to work
the machine between speed of 500 to 2000 impressions per
hour.
